Friday Find: Smoke, Sunshine, and 10 of the Country's Top Pitmasters

FOGO Charcoal shares highlights from the recent Smoke and Sunshine event in Florida.

Our friends at FOGO Charcoal were proud to be a part of the Smoke and Sunshine event recently held at Tropical Smokehouse in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was a beautiful day when 10 of the top pitmasters in the country gathered to prepare amazing food, raise money for the National Alliance for Mental Illness, and spread love through BBQ. The event was organized by renowned BBQ photographer Robert Jacob Lerma and Rick Mace, owner and operator of Tropical Smokehouse.

Chefs from some of the top BBQ spots from around the country prepared incredible dishes at the event. From fresh-caught Mahi-Mahi to braised oxtail, there was something to delight every palate. Friend of The Smoke Sheet Ron Dimpflmaier (aka @CptnRon302) had the chance to visit with some of the event participants in the latest episode of The FOGO Life. The Smoke and Sunshine event was a day filled with incredible food, community spirit, and giving back.
