Friday Find: Curry Boys BBQ Show Off What Makes Them Special

Only a small number of BBQ joints could paint their entire restaurant pink and still be looked at as a serious force in the barbecue world. Curry Boys BBQ is one of those spots.

Curry Boys BBQ opened in 2020, and it combines the flavors of Texas barbecue and Southeast Asian curries, creating mouth-watering dishes. An example is the Brisket Smoke Show, which features slices of brisket over a bed of rice and potatoes, topped with a savory green curry.

The restaurant started in a small shack and has since taken over a larger spot across the street in the St. Mary’s Strip neighborhood. A second location will soon open in the Stone Oak area.
