We Remain United Through BBQ

Hi everyone,
We know it has been a crazy week for everyone so far. Regardless of the election results, we hope everyone can stay calm and collected, so that we may once again become united. Remember: Even if things did go the way you had hoped for your candidate, life will carry on and it will continue to have its normal ups and downs.
As the authors of a popular barbecue newsletter, we strongly believe our readers (and many people around this country) remain united in many things and perhaps chiefly through our love of American BBQ. We’ve always viewed amazing food as one of the things that brings people together. In fact, there may be no cuisine that unites people from all walks of life — no matter their age, class, color, or creed — the way that barbecue does. Regardless of how you feel about the election, we hope you can find a way to sit down with people you might disagree with over some smoked meats and break brisket together.
We are taking a break from the regularly scheduled newsletter this week but we will be back with an extra helping of barbecue goodness in next week’s newsletter. In the meantime, please be good to each other and take good care of yourselves.
